Connect AI assistant

Flow works from your AI assistant too. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code, and you can search leads, manage lists and message your network just by asking — everything still runs through your own LinkedIn account.

What you can do

Connect your assistant once and you can run Flow by asking — in plain language, from the chat you already use:

“Find heads of sales at Series B fintechs in London and save them to a list.”
“Start outreach on my Fintech CEOs list.”
“Show me unread replies and draft a response to each.”

Everything still runs through your own LinkedIn account, at the same human pace and limits as the app.

Create an API key

Open Settings → Connect AI Assistant and press Create key. The key is how your assistant proves it’s you — the full key is shown once, so copy it somewhere safe. You can create a separate key per assistant and revoke any of them later.

Connect Claude

With a key created, add Flow to Claude as a custom connector.

1. Open Settings → Connectors in Claude, open the Add menu, and choose Add custom connector.

2. Name it and paste the URL. Enter Flow AI as the name, then paste your connector URL — https://api.chooseflow.ai/mcp?token=YOUR_API_KEY, replacing YOUR_API_KEY with the key you just created — and click Continue.

3. You’re connected. Flow appears in your connectors with its tools listed. Read-only tools — like search and list — are safe to leave on Always allow; anything that sends or changes something asks you first.

Turn Flow on in a chat. In any chat, open the + menu, go to Connectors, switch Flow AI on, and just ask.

Run Flow on a schedule

Once Flow is connected, you can use it in a scheduled task too — for example, a weekday morning run that checks for new replies and drafts responses. Create one from Scheduled, and Flow’s tools are available there just as they are in chat. The connector also works anywhere else you use Claude, including Claude Code.

ChatGPT, Cursor and others

The same idea works for ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP-capable tools. In Settings → Connect AI Assistant, switch to your client’s tab for the exact steps — the connector URL and key are the same. For the endpoint and technical details, see the MCP reference.

Your key and your data

Treat your API key like a password: don’t share it, and revoke it in Settings → Connect AI Assistant if it’s ever exposed. Your assistant can only do what you can do in Flow, and every action runs through your connected account with the same safeguards. To connect the account itself, see How connecting LinkedIn works.
